Responsibilities
- Operate and extend existing OpenStack-based cloud services.
- Develop and operate end-user services on cloud platforms.
- Build automation for metrics collection and observability data.
- Collaborate with Datacentre Operations Engineers to maintain AI systems.
- Configure and test new Graphcore AI hardware and systems.
- Drive corrective actions for systems not operating correctly.
- Work with external vendors to integrate third-party products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant subject.
- Solid infrastructure or IT experience with a proven track record.
- Experience managing or operating on-premises or private-cloud environments.
- Strong Linux scripting ability (bash and python required).
- Proven Linux system administration skills (Ubuntu, RHEL, and variants).
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Hands-on experience deploying services using Infrastructure-as-Code.
- A solid understanding of cloud service technologies and virtual networks.
