Responsibilities
- Develop, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled tools, environments, and workflows for HSV Software engineering teams.
- Build internal utilities, automation scripts, and services that improve access to AI capabilities in daily engineering work.
- Integrate AI solutions with engineering infrastructure, development environments, source repositories, internal knowledge sources, and enterprise platforms.
- Support AI evaluation systems through benchmarks, test datasets, quality metrics, regression checks, and reporting.
- Work with engineering users to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, improve usability, and drive AI adoption.
- Apply LLM and agent concepts to knowledge retrieval, task automation, tool usage, and workflow orchestration.
- Implement guardrails, monitoring, access controls, and human-review mechanisms for AI-assisted workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Python.
- Experience developing internal tools, automation, services, or engineering productivity solutions.
- Understanding of LLM concepts, AI agents, prompt engineering, tool calling, and RAG-based workflows.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support engineering users.
- Very good spoken and written English.
- Preferred experience includes AI integrations with enterprise platforms, knowledge bases, access-control systems, and CI/CD systems.
- Preferred qualifications include AI evaluation and benchmarking, vector databases, embeddings, agent frameworks, C++ or TCL, and EDA, VLSI, emulation, or prototyping workflows.
