Responsibilities
- Map future product capabilities to the technology, AI, data, payment, and integration capabilities needed to enable them.
- Create and maintain future-state end-to-end solution architectures covering applications, data, payments, integrations, security, and supporting technologies.
- Investigate technical options and produce evidence through proofs of concept, prototypes, and technical spikes.
- Evaluate build, buy, and integrate options, including trade-offs, risks, costs, constraints, and strategic alignment.
- Assess scalability, resilience, security, performance, feasibility, and operational readiness.
- Provide recommendations and decision support to Product and Engineering leadership.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a Technology Solution Architect, Solution Architect, Enterprise Solution Architect, or similar senior architecture professional.
- Strong experience designing complex enterprise technology solutions and translating business and product capabilities into solution architecture.
- Demonstrable AI-First architecture experience, including integrating AI into core business and technology capabilities and implementing AI- and data-driven process optimization.
- Strong understanding of enterprise application, integration, and data architecture.
- Experience creating and evaluating alternative architecture options and applying build, buy, and integrate decision frameworks.
- Experience assessing architecture for scalability, resilience, security, performance, and feasibility.
- Hands-on technical capability to develop proofs of concept and prototypes.
- Experience working across Product and Engineering teams and communicating with senior stakeholders and engineering teams.
- Desirable experience designing payment or payout platforms and integrating with payment providers, gateways, or financial technology platforms.
- Desirable experience with high-volume transaction or event-driven systems, distributed architectures, APIs, event-driven integration, and cloud-native technologies.
- Desirable knowledge of Generative AI, AI agents, machine learning, intelligent automation, regulated environments, enterprise security, data privacy, compliance, and technology risk.
