Responsibilities
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, API contracts, solution designs, architecture decision records, and estimates for Sitecore XP microservices.
- Lead the design of an Algolia migration, including indexing strategy, data pipelines, relevance tuning, and cutover or rollback planning.
- Build and review code using .NET and C#, set engineering standards, mentor developers, and guide adoption of AI-assisted coding with client-data and security guardrails.
- Implement and operate Azure Functions, Service Bus, Blob Storage, and Azure SQL; own CI/CD in Azure DevOps.
- Apply least-privilege access, secrets management, and observability practices.
- Define unit, integration, and API test strategies; ensure documented APIs and identify technical risks and dependencies.
- Communicate technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders and support solutioning, estimation, presales, and client discussions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience.
- Hands-on Tech Lead or Associate Architect experience leading the design and delivery of .NET microservices on Azure.
- Experience with a Sitecore XP-based platform and ownership of technical direction, quality, security, and predictable squad delivery.
- Experience collaborating with Project Managers, client stakeholders, and digital experience platform teams.
- Agile methodology and consulting experience are a plus.
- PIM systems experience, Swagger/OpenAPI, Algolia, Solr or Azure Search, and Sitecore XP 9 or 10 are nice-to-have qualifications.
