Base Salary
$115k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable frontend applications using Vue 3, TypeScript, and modern JavaScript tooling.
- Own complex features from technical design through production release across the UI, API, and Python service layers.
- Build and maintain Python backend services and APIs.
- Create reusable frontend components, patterns, and architecture that improve developer velocity.
- Improve application performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and reliability.
- Collaborate with product and design teams to deliver high-quality user experiences.
- Write tests across the stack using Vitest, Vue Test Utils, Playwright, and pytest.
- Participate in code reviews and mentor engineers on frontend best practices.
- Contribute to CI/CD improvements, observability, monitoring, and release quality.
- Maintain standards for security, privacy, and safe handling of user data.
- Use Claude and other AI-powered development tools for design, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and code review.
- Review AI-generated solutions for correctness, maintainability, security, performance, and architectural alignment.
- Craft effective prompts, protect sensitive information, share AI workflows, and evaluate emerging AI development tools.
Requirements
- At least five years of experience building rich, complex production web applications and frontend user experiences.
- Deep Vue.js experience, preferably with Vue 3 and the Composition API.
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Professional experience building backend services and APIs in Python.
- Experience with state management libraries or patterns such as Pinia, Vuex, or equivalent.
- Strong understanding of component architecture and design systems.
- Experience integrating applications with REST, GraphQL, or event-driven APIs.
- Strong unit, integration, and end-to-end testing experience.
- Understanding of frontend performance optimization, bundle analysis, caching, lazy loading, and Core Web Vitals.
- Familiarity with WCAG accessibility standards and semantic HTML.
- Experience working with relational databases.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude, Copilot, Cursor, or similar.
- Experience working in agile environments with cross-functional teams and leading technical initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Interest in the cannabis industry or LeafLink brand is a plus.
