Responsibilities
- Set technical direction for the Singapore-based content safety team and align its work with organizational priorities.
- Design, build, maintain, and scale content safety solutions, including classifiers and multimodal understanding systems.
- Safeguard business-critical generative AI-based server-side and on-device experiences from offensive, sensitive, or harmful content.
- Lead the design and implementation of specialized machine learning solutions and optimize ML infrastructure.
- Guide model optimization and data processing strategies and develop agentic workflows for threat understanding and content moderation.
- Collaborate with technical leadership and engineering colleagues across global regions while building a collaborative engineering culture.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 5 years of experience with speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or a related ML field.
- 5 years of experience with ML design and ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, or fine-tuning.
- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products and 3 years of experience with software design and architecture.
- 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- 3 years of experience leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- Experience in content safety, responsible AI, factuality, product policy, or related safety-adjacent fields.
- Experience scaling pipelines, deploying systems, and designing defensive architectures to meet Service Level Objectives.
- Knowledge of machine learning, large language models, transformers, activations, and model training and deployment.
