Responsibilities
- Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex customer-reported issues in production environments.
- Analyze logs, debug backend services, and conduct root-cause investigations across distributed systems.
- Develop bug fixes, enhancements, and stability improvements for backend services and APIs.
- Work directly with customers to understand their environments, technical challenges, and business needs.
- Collaborate with Support, QA, Product Management, and Engineering to resolve issues effectively.
- Improve product reliability, performance, and customer experience through proactive engineering.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and continuous improvement of development processes.
- Maintain high engineering standards for a large-scale enterprise security product.
Requirements
- B.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 1–3 years of experience in backend software development.
- Basic understanding of backend services and distributed-systems concepts.
- Hands-on or academic experience with backend programming in Python and/or Java.
- Familiarity with backend architectures, REST APIs, and database interactions.
- Experience with cloud platforms or containerized environments through projects, internships, or coursework.
- Basic knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
- Exposure to AI/ML technologies, AI-powered tools, automation workflows, or AI-based services and APIs.
- Strong English communication, analytical problem-solving, customer focus, ownership, adaptability, and collaboration skills.
