Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Own product and technical initiatives from design and scoping through implementation, launch, and iteration.
- Build reliable, maintainable systems for real-time scheduling, client booking, marketing automation, and business-management tools.
- Partner with Product and Design to understand customer problems and develop thoughtful technical solutions.
- Contribute to technical design and architecture while balancing scalability, maintainability, performance, and delivery speed.
- Build frontend, backend, or end-to-end experiences across the platform.
- Own software quality through testing, code review, observability, and ongoing production support.
- Collaborate with and mentor engineers through code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing.
- Improve software development and delivery practices, including the use of AI-assisted development tools.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience building and operating production applications.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals and the ability to design clean, maintainable solutions to complex problems.
- Demonstrated ownership of meaningful features or technical initiatives from definition through production.
- Experience partnering with Product and Design to translate customer needs into technical solutions.
- Ability to solve reusable classes of problems and design extensible systems.
- Strong technical judgment, tradeoff evaluation, and communication skills.
- Effective collaboration with engineers and cross-functional partners, including contributing to others’ growth.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn unfamiliar technologies; prior Elixir experience is not required.
Benefits
- Base salary range of $184,000-$230,000 per year for candidates in NYC, the SF Bay Area, and Seattle, or $163,600-$204,500 per year for other U.S. locations, plus possible variable compensation.
