Base Salary
$140k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Understand customer and user problems, define intended outcomes, and build the smallest useful solution to test hypotheses.
- Write and ship production code across interfaces, APIs, integrations, data, and agent workflows.
- Use AI agents throughout research, design, implementation, testing, debugging, and delivery, and develop reusable tools and context to improve productivity.
- Experiment with new models and capabilities and turn successful approaches into product features.
- Choose appropriate models, code, or existing tools based on the problem and evaluate lasting product value.
- Own testing, observability, failure handling, maintainability, and verification of AI-generated output.
- Build security, privacy, and applicable compliance practices into production work.
- Work directly with customers and partners, deliver integrations, and convert field learning into reusable capabilities.
- Instrument shipped products, evaluate adoption and outcomes, and adjust direction based on evidence.
Requirements
- Demonstrated record of building and shipping software that real users depend on.
- Technical fluency sufficient to implement, debug, and operate production software, with depth in at least one discipline such as engineering, product, design, or data.
- Hands-on use of coding agents and other AI tools on shipped work, including improving personal workflows and demonstrating their impact.
- Regular experimentation with new AI capabilities through working projects and an understanding of their strengths and limitations.
- Product sense, design judgment, and data fluency to understand customer needs, scope solutions, and assess outcomes.
- Strong verification habits and communication skills, including identifying incorrect output, explaining trade-offs, and involving specialists when needed.
- Comfort working directly in customer and partner environments, including forward-deployment settings.
- Ability to balance speed, maintainability, security, privacy, and applicable compliance requirements in production work.
