Base Salary

$144k - $224k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Enhance the scalability, automation, and efficiency of large-scale machine learning training and real-time inference systems.
  • Develop LLM inference infrastructure for next-generation GenAI workloads at Amazon Ads scale.
  • Work with applied scientists to optimize machine learning models and implement end-to-end solutions from experimentation through production.
  • Design and build ML data pipelines using machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, and natural language processing techniques.
  • Drive operational excellence through monitoring, automation, and continuous improvement of model-serving systems.

Requirements

  • Have at least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
  • Have at least 2 years of experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
  • Program in at least one software programming language.
  • Have experience in machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, statistics, or natural language processing.
  • Preferred: 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
  • Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
