Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead the architectural design and strategy for the next-generation US sports betting and trading platform.
- Evaluate architectural decisions across the broader technology ecosystem and secure stakeholder support.
- Create vision documents, roadmaps, target operating models, and governance frameworks.
- Initiate and oversee proofs of concept to validate architectural decisions and mitigate technical risk.
- Advocate for the architectural vision with senior management and technical leadership.
- Provide governance and support to ensure technical solutions adhere to the architectural vision.
- Lead the integration of third-party COTS solutions with external architects and technical representatives.
- Drive cross-departmental architectural solutions in collaboration with departmental architects and technical leadership.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in distributed systems architecture, high-throughput and low-latency systems, high availability, functional or immutable data models, microservices, N-tier architecture, and infrastructure.
- Demonstrated expertise in cloud technologies and designing for the cloud; Google Cloud Platform expertise is desirable.
- A proven track record of creating greenfield enterprise-level solutions at scale.
- Experience designing or working on trading systems, particularly in financial or gambling sectors, is highly desirable.
- Sports betting industry experience is a significant advantage.
- Recognized expertise in core departmental technologies, strong engineering principles, creative problem-solving ability, and architectural leadership capabilities.
- Ability to simplify complex systems for stakeholders and communicate architectural strategy effectively.
- Ability to manage multiple activity streams, work autonomously, and collaborate with technical and organizational leadership.
