Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and operate services and capabilities for the Solventum-HIS AI Fabric.
- Build scalable AI inferencing, agentic workflow, lifecycle management, and model-serving platform capabilities.
- Develop frameworks and services for LLMs, SLMs, MCP, AI agents, tool integration, orchestration, and multimodal medical documentation and coding workflows.
- Build APIs, SDKs, reusable services, and developer tooling that enable product teams to integrate AI safely.
- Engineer scalable, highly available distributed systems using cloud-native architectures, containers, and microservices.
- Implement model registry, agentic state management, observability, lineage, deployment, infrastructure automation, and operational readiness capabilities.
- Apply security, privacy, data protection, reliability, and performance practices for regulated healthcare environments.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Sciences, Product, Architecture, and Security teams and participate in architecture, design, code review, and automated testing activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science or a related area, completed and verified before starting.
- Five to ten years of computer science or software development experience, including building and operating production software.
- Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Go, or TypeScript.
- Experience developing products on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, observability, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, and production on-call operations.
- Experience building REST APIs, GraphQL, or gRPC services and using event-driven design.
- Experience with generative AI, LLMs, SLMs, RAG, vector search, and model evaluation.
- Experience with agentic AI frameworks and concepts such as Langraph, Langchain, tool calling, multi-agent systems, and workflow orchestration.
- Healthcare technology experience is a plus.
- Strong engineering discipline around automated testing, code coverage, code quality, security, privacy, reliability, performance, and code sustainability.
