Responsibilities

  • Define the overall architecture, integration patterns, governance, and scaling approach for AI agents across multiple data domains and use cases.
  • Design and own the central agent integration layer that mediates agent access to governed data and consistently enforces controls.
  • Evaluate LLM frameworks and orchestration approaches, including Databricks Mosaic AI, against use-case requirements.
  • Establish patterns for structured-data retrieval, semantic context, access controls, trustworthy answers, and business-context handling.
  • Define agent guardrails covering read-only access, role-based permissions, PII handling, output validation, and hallucination mitigation.
  • Design agent evaluation frameworks using synthetic queries, accuracy validation, test variations, domain coverage, and answer-consistency criteria.
  • Define user-facing agent experience patterns, including interaction modes, output formats, caveats, supporting data, and access methods.
  • Partner with data and analytics teams to structure schemas, metadata, and metric definitions for accurate agent responses.
  • Ensure the architecture supports multi-tenant data boundaries as the platform expands to additional broadcast partners.
  • Guide AI developers and set standards so individual agent implementations align with the central architecture.

Requirements

  • Deep experience designing and deploying production AI agent systems, including LLM selection, orchestration, and evaluation.
  • Familiarity with the Databricks platform and related products.
  • Strong understanding of agent interactions with structured data, including retrieval patterns, semantic layers, and metadata-driven context.
  • Familiarity with major LLM platforms and orchestration frameworks, including the ability to evaluate vendor tradeoffs objectively.
  • Experience designing safety and governance patterns for AI systems.
  • Comfort working across data engineering, analytics, and business stakeholder teams.
  • Experience in media, advertising, or other data-intensive industries with complex business metrics and multi-system data environments is helpful.
