Base Salary
$157k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and iterate on Stepful’s learning management system, including seamless UX, adaptive learning, peer engagement, gamification, and motivational mechanisms.
- Build generative-AI-powered career services such as resume generation and interview training.
- Design and maintain platforms for instructors, teaching assistants, coaches, and operators.
- Build technology for scalable, adaptable educational content and curriculum creation.
- Develop reliable, accessible data pipelines that support business, learning, and operations teams.
- Own the full development lifecycle across the stack.
Requirements
- 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience.
- Ability to take ownership of the complete development lifecycle and work comfortably across the full stack.
- Familiarity with React and TypeScript on the frontend.
- Familiarity with Python, Node.js, or Ruby on Rails for backend development.
- Ability to solve complex problems, learn new technology, and work effectively in an early-stage company.
- Direct-to-consumer startup experience, especially in EdTech or Healthcare, is preferred.
