Base Salary
$72k - $108k/yr
Responsibilities
- Maintain, manage, and scale cloud and container infrastructure for existing and new services.
- Design, build, and maintain automation for monitoring, deployments, recovery, scaling, alerting, and operational workflows.
- Partner with software engineering, operations, and platform teams to improve reliability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
- Support migrations of legacy applications to containerized platforms, including deployment readiness and operational support.
- Analyze and resolve performance, connectivity, deployment, and platform-operation issues with minimal disruption.
- Work with cross-functional teams to assess infrastructure impacts, align expectations, and deliver changes safely and reliably.
- Apply and share best practices for containerization, observability, automation, security, and technical support.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience solving sophisticated technical problems using public cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience operating cloud infrastructure and container platforms.
- Strong experience with Azure public cloud services and depth in at least two of GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines and releases, Azure PaaS and IaaS, Datadog, Azure Application Insights, and Azure Monitor.
- Experience writing automation with Python, Shell, or other scripting languages.
- Experience developing operational procedures and improving automation for monitoring, alerting, recovery, scaling, security, and support.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for resolving performance, connectivity, and deployment failures.
- Ability to build technical relationships, align expectations across partners, and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to work in an Agile environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Preferred experience with Azure Container Instances, Linux and Windows system administration, Azure networking and security, enterprise-scale cloud and hybrid infrastructure, legacy application containerization, and Azure cloud certification.
- Bachelor’s degree in a scientific or engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
