Responsibilities
- Design and deliver highly performant, reliable, intuitive AI agents for production environments
- Own the Agent Development Life Cycle from pilot through deployment and continuous iteration
- Build, tune, and evolve AI agents serving enterprises and startups across industries
- Partner directly with customer leaders to understand business challenges and implement AI agents
- Prototype tools and features and collaborate with research, product, and platform teams to evolve Sierra’s platform
- Develop agent frameworks for industry-specific use cases and experiment with new agent architectures
- Experiment with voice models and integrate them at enterprise scale
Requirements
- Experience building and scaling end-to-end production systems
- Strong technical problem-solving skills in fast-changing and ambiguous environments
- Builder and tinkerer mindset with high agency and a focus on shipping
- Comfort working directly with customers to understand needs and solve real-world problems
- Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Professional fluency in German and English
- Preferred experience building or deploying AI/LLM systems in production
- Preferred founder or founding-engineer experience
- Preferred familiarity with evaluation frameworks, agent tooling, RAG pipelines, and prompt engineering
- Prior experience with React, TypeScript, and/or Go is preferred
- Previous customer-facing or external technical project leadership experience is preferred
