Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Translate customer IT needs and future goals into communications architectures, requirements, and design specifications.
- Support Navy cloud migration, advanced technology integration, and legacy-system modernization.
- Conduct capability assessments, operational planning, risk management, and mission integration activities.
- Develop or analyze requirements for complex Department of the Navy systems.
- Apply expertise in Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT), communications architectures, RF spectrum operations, or waveform modernization.
- Brief senior military and government leadership.
- Mentor developers and help them grow into future solution architects.
Requirements
- At least 10 years of systems engineering experience.
- At least 2 years of experience with space or land-based communications architectures, RF spectrum operations, or waveform modernization initiatives.
- Experience with capability assessments, operational planning, risk management, or mission integration activities.
- Experience with requirements analysis or development for complex Department of the Navy systems.
- Experience with Positioning, Navigation, and Timing (PNT).
- Ability to brief senior military and government leadership.
- Active TS/SCI clearance or eligibility to meet classified-information access requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Preferred: experience applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG).
- Preferred: master’s degree in computer science or engineering.
- Preferred: MCSA or MCSE Windows Server 2008 certification, MCSA or MCSE Windows 7 certification, IAT Level II certification, or CCNA or CCNP certification.
