Responsibilities
- Own the engineering of Luna’s autonomous-agent product.
- Build deterministic workflows that agents can write, refine, and execute reliably.
- Develop secure agent architecture including a one-way secret vault, isolated plugins, rollback, audit trails, and approval gates.
- Define and implement reliable agent behavior, including how failures are detected and handled.
- Turn vague product and engineering problems into working solutions in close collaboration with the founder.
Requirements
- Be an experienced builder who prioritizes shipping working products.
- Have strong instincts about agent capabilities, safety boundaries, failure detection, and recovery behavior.
- Work independently and turn ambiguous assignments into functional implementations.
- Have strong fundamentals in distributed systems and reliability.
- Have production engineering experience.
- Experience with LLM tooling in production, tool use, sandboxing, and evaluations is nice to have.
- Bring a security-minded approach to building software.
