Responsibilities
- Design, implement, monitor, and troubleshoot cloud systems.
- Define strategies, roadmaps, and reference architectures for cloud workloads across network, security, data, and applications.
- Build and optimize automated deployment tools and DevOps pipelines.
- Develop and deploy production modules, upgrades, and fixes.
- Improve system capacity, reliability, availability, monitoring, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Resolve complex production and design issues and provide performance recommendations.
- Create documented, flexible code and intuitive interfaces for DevOps tool stacks.
- Evaluate and introduce technologies that improve efficiency, performance, and reliability.
- Provide documentation support for developers and testers and collaborate with engineering and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 7 years of software engineering experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, Java, or Python.
- 5–8 years of DevOps engineering experience.
- 4–5 years of automating deployment pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Argo and managing blue/green and canary deployments.
- 2–3 years of experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Bicep and GitOps workflows.
- 2–3 years of experience with Helm and Kubernetes management tools including ArgoCD, EKS, or GKE.
- 2–3 years of experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, and hybrid integration with on-premises systems.
- Experience with technical documentation, complex issue resolution, consensus building, troubleshooting, software engineering, object-oriented design, front-end development, Maven, Ant, and Angular or React.
- Master’s degree preferred.
- Ability to work in a lean agile format as part of a scrum team preferred.
