Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Define enterprise target-state architecture for cloud-native data, analytics, AI/ML, and Agentic AI platforms.
  • Establish engineering standards, reference architectures, reusable patterns, and technical governance.
  • Lead modernization of legacy data platforms and architect lakehouse, data mesh, streaming, and real-time analytics ecosystems.
  • Define standards for data ingestion, transformation, governance, metadata, lineage, cataloging, and data quality.
  • Lead development of Agentic AI solutions, including orchestration, reasoning engines, MCP-based integrations, multi-agent workflows, and human-in-the-loop controls.
  • Architect AI-enabled automation for data onboarding, pipeline generation, metadata enrichment, policy enforcement, data quality validation, incident remediation, and operational intelligence.
  • Establish responsible AI, explainability, model governance, auditability, and enterprise AI governance controls.
  • Provide technical leadership across public-cloud compute, storage, networking, security, AI, analytics, and DevOps ecosystems.
  • Drive platform reliability, scalability, resiliency, observability, disaster recovery, operational excellence, Infrastructure as Code, platform automation, and self-service capabilities.
  • Partner with cybersecurity, IAM, risk, audit, regulatory compliance, engineering, architecture, product, and business leaders to deliver secure and compliant platforms.

Requirements

  • At least 7 years of engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
  • At least 7 years designing enterprise-scale data and analytics platforms.
  • At least 5 years delivering AI/ML, Generative AI, or Agentic AI solutions in complex enterprise environments.
  • Proven experience leading enterprise-wide cloud transformation initiatives.
  • Deep expertise in one or more public-cloud platforms, with Google Cloud Platform preferred; Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services also listed.
  • Strong experience with data lakehouse architectures, BigQuery, Snowflake, Databricks, Starburst or equivalent platforms, streaming and event-driven architectures, data governance, metadata, lineage, catalog solutions, Kubernetes, container platforms, Infrastructure as Code, and DevOps automation.
  • Experience designing enterprise AI platforms and MLOps frameworks, including Large Language Models, Retrieval Augmented Generation, Agentic AI architectures, multi-agent systems, vector databases, model evaluation and monitoring, and MCP ecosystems.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, AI, or a related field is preferred.
  • Industry certifications in public cloud, data engineering, AI/ML, or security are preferred.
  • Experience in highly regulated industries and contributions to standards, patents, open-source projects, or published technical thought leadership are preferred.
