Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and governance across Quality Engineering, test automation, performance testing, and Digital Assurance services.
- Own and evolve the Quality Engineering capability strategy, roadmap, service portfolio, technical standards, reference architectures, and reusable assets.
- Act as a senior technical authority on complex client engagements and advise on significant Quality Engineering challenges.
- Shape client opportunities through discovery workshops, proposals, commercial solution design, executive briefings, and maturity assessments.
- Remain hands-on and partially billable to establish new services, prove value, and support account growth.
- Develop thought leadership through conferences, webinars, roundtables, publications, and industry engagement.
- Lead career paths, competency frameworks, future-skills programs, coaching, mentoring, and people development across the practice.
- Develop practical and commercially viable approaches, accelerators, and services for generative AI, machine learning, agentic AI, and AI Assurance.
- Define approaches for testing, validating, and monitoring AI systems and foster disciplined experimentation.
Requirements
- Significant experience in software Quality Engineering, testing, or Digital Assurance.
- Strong technical understanding of modern test automation approaches, architectures, and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of performance testing and performance engineering.
- Experience defining Quality Engineering strategies, frameworks, or technical standards.
- Experience delivering Quality Engineering within Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD models.
- Experience with AI Assurance, Responsible AI, AI governance, or AI/ML model validation and testing.
- Understanding of agentic AI, autonomous software engineering approaches, generative AI, AI-enabled testing, and the risks and limitations of AI-based systems.
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks such as ISO/IEC 42001 or regulatory frameworks such as the EU AI Act.
- Experience building technical accelerators, frameworks, platforms, or reusable intellectual property.
- Experience in consultancy, professional services, technology services, or a similar client-facing environment.
- Experience shaping solutions during pre-sales and contributing to proposals, bids, presentations, or commercial solutions.
- Strong client-facing communication, stakeholder management, coaching, mentoring, and people-development skills.
- Experience leading technical teams, capabilities, communities, or practices and developing capability through others.
- Experience building or scaling an engineering or Quality Engineering practice.
- Conference speaking, publishing, or recognized industry thought leadership is required.
