Base Salary
$90k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Guide small groups of two to three engineers, including offshore associates, on assigned engineering projects.
- Design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and maintain scalable web applications, APIs, and microservices.
- Translate project requirements into technical solutions and evaluate alternative solutions based on business value and return on investment.
- Develop backend functionality using Hibernate, Spring Boot, Java Spring, CRUD operations, and RESTful services.
- Develop UI pages for web and kiosk applications using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Troubleshoot business and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and drive corrective action plans.
- Collaborate with product management, project management, business, user experience, and cross-functional teams during discovery and implementation.
- Communicate project status and issues, complete documentation, and ensure timely delivery and hand-offs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with software development lifecycle activities, including requirements gathering, design, analysis, implementation, coding, and deployment.
- Experience with Hibernate, Spring Boot, Java Spring, CRUD operations, scalable RESTful applications, and microservices-based backend development.
- Experience with Azure SQL Server, GitHub, SVN, Azure, Oracle Console, Jira, HPQC, SonarQube, JUnit, Mockito, and Log4j.
- Experience developing HTML, CSS, and JavaScript UI pages and supporting internationalized applications.
- The position does not require specific years of experience; any amount of experience with the required skills is accepted.
