Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Android-side camera, video, and image recognition products.
- Handle Android ecosystem fragmentation and optimize performance for low-end devices.
- Implement on-device capture workflows ensuring stability and compatibility.
- Build on-device environment detection and adaptation capabilities.
- Collaborate with Product, Backend, Algorithm, and other teams for end-to-end delivery.
- Participate in technical design reviews, code reviews, and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Strong Android engineering fundamentals with expertise in Camera2 / CameraX.
- Deep understanding of Android system-level mechanics and multithreading.
- Capability in on-device vision or algorithm engineering.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills for diagnosing production issues.
- Experience with camera capture, video streaming, and image recognition is preferred.
- Familiarity with on-device vision technologies is a plus.
- Experience integrating with major image recognition services is preferred.
- Backend development experience in Java, Go, Python, or Node.js is a plus.
- Good communication skills and ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.
