Responsibilities
- Design and architect enterprise integration solutions using one or more supported middleware platforms.
- Lead integration architecture, technical design, design reviews, and implementation guidance.
- Translate business and functional requirements into integration architectures, technical specifications, and interface designs.
- Define synchronous, asynchronous, batch, event-driven, and API-based integration patterns.
- Design and implement REST and SOAP APIs, data transformations, message routing, orchestration, and error handling.
- Define reusable integration components, standards, monitoring, logging, retry, and exception-handling frameworks.
- Collaborate with solution architects, application and infrastructure teams, customers, and other stakeholders on end-to-end designs.
- Troubleshoot complex integration issues involving performance, connectivity, data mapping, security, and reliability.
- Support integration testing, deployment planning, production readiness, documentation, and implementation governance.
- Lead integration workshops, technical discussions, estimations, and technical reviews.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall IT experience with significant enterprise integration development and architecture experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in at least one of MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, SAP Cloud Integration, Azure Data Factory, Boomi AtomSphere, or Flowable.
- Experience with enterprise application integration concepts, integration design patterns, and high- and low-level technical integration designs.
- Experience with REST APIs, SOAP web services, JSON, XML, data transformation, synchronous and asynchronous communication, and API security.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, secure connectivity, error handling, retry mechanisms, monitoring, logging, and performance optimization.
- Ability to independently own end-to-end integration architecture and guide developers through implementation and testing.
- Experience leading customer and stakeholder design discussions in consulting or enterprise implementation environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, stakeholder communication, documentation, and technical leadership skills.
- Preferred experience with supply chain applications, especially Transportation Management Systems, and logistics, transportation, warehousing, order fulfillment, or inventory processes.
- Preferred experience integrating SAP or Oracle ERP systems with enterprise applications.
- Exposure to Azure, Kafka, JMS, enterprise message queues, CI/CD, DevOps, and automated integration deployments.
