Base Salary
$220k - $275k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain a scalable AI platform for Aladdin.
- Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters for deploying AI models.
- Build platform abstractions for cloud-native infrastructure across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
- Build and maintain automated pipelines for continuous machine-learning model training, testing, and deployment.
- Ensure platform security and compliance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve platform performance and reliability issues.
- Translate business and functional requirements into scalable technical designs.
- Apply quality software engineering practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with team members across multiple offices and countries.
- Stay current with AI and cloud engineering trends and technologies.
Requirements
- B.S./M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related subject area.
- 10+ years of experience in software and platform engineering.
- Experience designing and building scalable APIs and microservices.
- Strong Kubernetes proficiency, including Helm charts, Kustomize, and custom resource definitions.
- Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Expertise with Docker and containerd.
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
- Knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation for infrastructure as code.
- Understanding of networking, security policies, and API gateways in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in production-grade programming languages such as Rust and C++.
- Understanding of distributed systems and cluster orchestration and management.
- Knowledge of PyTorch, Jax, Numpy, and Python.
- Experience with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Experience working in Agile development teams and collaborating effectively.
- Building SDKs or client libraries is a preferred qualification.
- Knowledge of Spark or Dask is preferred.
- Understanding of GPU orchestration and optimization in Kubernetes is preferred.
- Familiarity with MLOps and machine-learning model lifecycle pipelines is preferred.
- Experience with AI model training and fine-tuning is preferred.
- Familiarity with Kafka and event-driven architecture is preferred.
- Experience with NoSQL datastores such as Cassandra is preferred.
