Responsibilities
- Own and operate Databricks infrastructure for performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Build and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform.
- Architect and document scalable systems for reproducible and automated ML workflows.
- Collaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, ML Engineers, and Infrastructure partners on platform features.
- Lead complex engineering projects from design through implementation and long-term support.
- Improve platform usability, efficiency, and scalability based on industry best practices.
- Support technical excellence through peer reviews, mentorship, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- At least 3+ years of experience in ML Platform, Data Platform, Infrastructure, or Data Engineering roles.
- Hands-on production experience with Databricks.
- Strong infrastructure-as-code knowledge, especially Terraform or Pulumi.
- Proficiency with AWS and container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid Python skills and familiarity with ML libraries and tooling such as MLflow, pandas, and scikit-learn.
- Experience owning and operating complex systems at scale.
- Strong communication and technical documentation skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
