Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using the Boomi Integration Platform.
- Build and maintain integrations between enterprise applications and third-party systems, including NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, and Salesforce.
- Develop integrations using REST APIs, SOAP services, webhooks, event-driven architectures, and the Boomi REST Client connector.
- Use Boomi Integration, APIM, DataHub, Flow, EDI, Event Streams, and AgentStudio components to implement integration workflows.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, logging, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Monitor integrations, troubleshoot production issues, manage incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, estimate integration effort, and develop scalable technical solutions.
- Define integration standards, reusable frameworks, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, manage deployments, delegate tasks, and mentor junior developers.
- Maintain documentation for integration processes and APIs and support SLA-driven production environments.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in enterprise application integration and at least 3 years of hands-on Boomi development experience.
- Proven experience delivering multiple end-to-end Boomi integration projects in hybrid cloud and on-premise environments.
- Experience leading integration workstreams, mentoring junior developers, performing code reviews, managing deployments, and supporting production systems.
- Expertise with REST APIs, SOAP services, webhooks, event-driven architectures, API lifecycle management, authentication, and security standards.
- Experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, Basic Authentication, SAML, and API Gateway concepts.
- Experience with XML, JSON, CSV, flat files, XSLT, data transformation, and database integrations.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, and AWS SQS/SNS.
- Experience with EDI transaction processing, including ANSI X12 and EDIFACT.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices and tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms and scalable, reusable integration frameworks.
- Advanced English communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business stakeholders, architects, QA teams, and project managers.
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience is preferred.
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience, is required.
- Preferred certifications include Boomi Professional Developer, Boomi Professional Integration Developer, Boomi API Management, Boomi Master Data Hub, Boomi Architect, MuleSoft, or other iPaaS-related certifications.
