Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy integrations using the Boomi Integration Platform.
- Build and maintain integrations between enterprise applications and third-party systems.
- Use REST Client connectors, REST APIs, SOAP services, webhooks, event-driven architectures, messaging, and cloud-based solutions.
- Perform data mapping, transformation, validation, logging, error handling, and performance optimization.
- Monitor integrations, troubleshoot production issues, manage incidents, and perform root cause analysis.
- Gather requirements from business stakeholders and collaborate with architects, QA teams, project managers, and internal teams.
- Lead integration workstreams, conduct code reviews, delegate tasks, mentor junior developers, and support technical discussions.
- Define integration standards, reusable frameworks, best practices, and scalable integration solutions.
- Manage deliverables, deployments, documentation, effort estimates, and technical solution design.
- Support production environments with SLA-driven support models.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise application integration.
- 3+ years of hands-on Boomi development experience and multiple end-to-end Boomi integration projects.
- Experience with hybrid cloud and on-premise integration environments.
- Experience with Boomi Integration, APIM, DataHub/Master Data Hub, Flow, EDI, Event Streams, and AgentStudio.
- Experience integrating NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Workday, Salesforce, Oracle ERP/HCM, and ServiceNow.
- Knowledge of API lifecycle management, authentication, security standards, OAuth 2.0, JWT, Basic Authentication, SAML, and API Gateway concepts.
- Experience with REST and SOAP web services, XML, JSON, CSV, flat files, XSLT, data transformation, and database integrations.
- Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, JMS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, AWS SQS/SNS, ANSI X12, and EDIFACT.
- Knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices, with experience using Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or similar tools.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with code reviews, deployment management, production support, monitoring, effort estimation, and solution design.
- Experience leading integration workstreams, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating directly with business stakeholders.
- Advanced English communication skills and strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Prior consulting or client-facing experience is preferred.
- Preferred certifications include Boomi Professional Developer, Boomi Professional Integration Developer, Boomi API Management, Boomi Master Data Hub, Boomi Architect, MuleSoft, or other iPaaS-related certifications.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
