Responsibilities
- Lead technical and business discovery for LSP prospects and translate operational challenges into scalable project44 solutions.
- Own solution design and integration scoping across LSP technology stacks and Movement product capabilities.
- Conduct hands-on API prototyping, configure webhooks, interpret JSON/XML payloads, and map carrier event streams.
- Advise on EDI, API-based, ELD, and ocean or air carrier connectivity models.
- Build and present LSP-specific ROI models, sophisticated demonstrations, proofs of concept, and value assessments.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to executive stakeholders and present quantified business cases.
- Collaborate with Implementation and Customer Success to ensure sales scope is achievable in delivery.
- Partner with Account Executives on account strategies throughout the sales cycle.
- Mentor and coach Solutions Engineers and support enablement initiatives across the organization.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to provide roadmap feedback from LSP engagements.
- Represent project44 at industry events, webinars, and customer councils.
Requirements
- At least five years of hands-on operational or technical experience at a 3PL, 4PL, or managed transportation provider.
- Deep familiarity with carrier network operations, customer account management, TMS configuration or integration, or supply chain visibility deployments; direct LSP operator experience is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in LSP processes including load tendering, carrier scorecarding, freight audit and pay, customer SLA reporting, mode optimization, drayage/intermodal operations, white-label portals, and managed transportation programs.
- Experience leading complex, multi-stakeholder integration or operational projects such as carrier onboardings, TMS implementations or migrations, outsourcing transitions, or visibility platform deployments.
- Hands-on experience with at least one major TMS platform and the ability to work directly with APIs, technical documentation, test calls, and JSON/XML payloads.
- Experience with or strong understanding of API-based tendering and tracking, ELD integrations, and ocean or air carrier data feeds.
- Comfort with light scripting in Python or JavaScript or query writing in SQL.
- Strong understanding of cloud architecture, integration frameworks, data exchange standards, and information security considerations in enterprise SaaS deployments.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including the ability to engage both C-suite and technical audiences.
- Ability to lead discovery workshops, design Proofs of Value, and deliver quantifiable ROI analyses tailored to logistics providers.
- Deep understanding of global supply chain, transportation, and logistics processes.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% for customer engagements, industry events, and internal collaboration.
