Base Salary
$185k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship end-to-end features in Laravel, including database schemas, API endpoints, and Vue.js interfaces.
- Write clean, tested, and documented code and participate in code reviews.
- Integrate third-party APIs and internal services while handling errors, retries, and edge cases.
- Collaborate with Product Managers and QA to clarify requirements, break down work, and deliver features to production.
- Debug and resolve cross-stack issues involving performance and data integrity.
- Improve tooling, tests, and the development workflow.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
- Working experience with Laravel, or another modern MVC framework with genuine interest in Laravel.
- Solid PHP fundamentals and comfort with object-oriented design.
- Frontend experience with Vue.js, React, or a similar technology, plus HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Practical SQL skills and experience designing and querying relational databases such as MySQL.
- Familiarity with Git-based workflows and code review.
- Clear written and verbal communication and willingness to ask questions early.
- Preferred: automated testing experience with Playwright or a similar tool.
- Preferred: exposure to AWS or another cloud platform.
- Preferred: experience with queues, background jobs, or event-driven workflows.
- Preferred: interest in fintech, financial services, or regulated environments.
- Preferred: hands-on experience with LLM APIs or AI-assisted features.
