Responsibilities
- Design and develop secure, scalable file transfer products and solutions using Modern C++ and Java.
- Build and maintain integrations using JSON and XML, and contribute to web-based UIs with JavaScript, JQuery, and related frameworks.
- Implement and optimize support for SFTP, FTPS, HTTP/S, and FTP/S protocols.
- Create automated unit and integration tests in a shift-left testing environment.
- Collaborate with team leads and architects on system design and feature planning.
- Participate in code reviews and improve code quality, maintainability, and documentation.
- Work with Quality Engineering, DevOps, and Product teams to deliver reliable enterprise software.
- Use AWS and Azure to deploy and scale infrastructure and services.
- Own assigned modules, participate in team ceremonies, and mentor junior engineers when appropriate.
Requirements
- Bachelor ’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–7 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong Modern C++ and object-oriented programming development skills.
- Proficiency with JavaScript, JQuery, modern front-end development concepts, SQL, and relational databases.
- Knowledge of REST APIs, integration patterns, JSON, file transfer protocols, and networking protocols.
- Experience with Git, SVN, JIRA, and TFS.
- Understanding of AWS, Azure, security, encryption, and compliance standards related to data and file transfer.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, well-documented code and communicate effectively.
- Nice-to-have exposure to DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code practices.
