Base Salary
$212k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and lead the technical strategy for backend pricing and availability systems, including APIs, services, and data pipelines
- Lead the development and optimization of core pricing and availability products
- Collaborate with product engineers and cross-functional partners on host pricing functionality and calendar-management tools
- Contribute to the long-term backend architecture within the Host Pricing organization
- Establish architectural standards and mentor senior engineers to improve technical maturity
Requirements
- 9+ years of engineering experience with a BS, MS, or PhD in computer science or a similar field
- Proven experience leading teams, setting technical strategy, and launching high-impact product features
- Expertise with backend systems in large-scale service-oriented architectures
- Experience influencing cross-functional partners and engineering teams
- Strong judgment balancing short-term business needs with long-term technical quality
- Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving and production debugging abilities
