Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead development of conversational AI applications and transition rapid prototypes into production-grade agentic workflows.
- Architect and code conversational flows integrated with customer APIs, legacy data silos, live infrastructure, and security perimeters.
- Build evaluation pipelines and observability frameworks to optimize agent reasoning, tool selection, latency, security, and networking.
- Identify repeatable field patterns and technical friction in Google’s Applied AI stack and convert them into reusable modules or engineering feature requests.
- Co-build solutions with customer engineering teams and establish development best practices and end-user adoption.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of software development experience using Python or similar coding languages.
- Experience deploying resources with Terraform or similar tools to automate agents, functions, or networking.
- Experience building full-stack applications for enterprise IT infrastructures and developing external customer projects.
- Experience architecting AI systems on cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in AI, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: experience with multi-agent systems, ReAct, self-reflection, agent debugging, tool selection, conversation tracing, enterprise knowledge bases, RAG chunking, and troubleshooting high-traffic systems.
