Responsibilities
- Define architectural approaches and detailed technical engineering specifications.
- Develop architectural proofs of concept, research technical innovations, and evaluate technologies for AI solutions, security, and scalability.
- Provide architectural oversight and guidance to Engineering teams, negotiate trade-offs, and drive issues to closure.
- Partner with Product Management to understand business requirements and market trends.
- Help Engineering design, build, and shape next-generation cloud products for modern SaaS solutions.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with and deep understanding of at least one major public cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud architecture or DevOps/SRE and design processes for large-scale, complex, high-performance distributed systems.
- At least 5 years of hands-on programming experience in languages such as Python or Go.
- Experience with container orchestration using Kubernetes and cloud-native solutions.
- At least 2 years of hands-on technical leadership as a Principal Engineer or Technical Lead.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience with B2B systems and designing external APIs.
- Experience with AI-driven cloud services and emerging AI platform capabilities is a strong advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strong ownership, and a track record of quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as an equal peer with Engineering.
