Base Salary
$120k - $261k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead by example and mentor engineers and PMs while producing extensible, maintainable code.
- Own and define end-to-end data and analytics architecture for CoreAI and Foundry platforms.
- Design, build, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and architectures for analytics initiatives.
- Establish data quality, lineage, security, compliance, governance, and validation practices.
- Build data models, semantic layers, and tools that enable self-service analytics and trusted information access.
- Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, AI researchers, analysts, business leaders, and other stakeholders.
- Lead product, project, and release plans and contribute to the infrastructure and culture needed to scale data insights.
- Use AI tools to accelerate workflows and improve team productivity.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related technical field and 4+ years of technical engineering experience, or equivalent experience.
- Coding experience in C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements, including the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- Preferred: 6+ years leading software engineering and analytics projects with measurable product or growth outcomes.
- Preferred: experience architecting and operating large-scale cloud data pipelines, preferably in Azure.
- Preferred: strong knowledge of algorithms, data structures, analytics-oriented problem-solving, data governance, privacy, lineage, and security practices.
- Preferred: ability to communicate complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Preferred: experience using AI tools and prototyping and deploying data products.
