Base Salary
$166k - $203k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and integrate LLM-powered workflows, RAG pipelines, and orchestration components for vulnerability detection and security automation
- Develop features for HackerOne’s Hai AI security agent, including natural-language insights, reasoning workflows, and secure model interactions
- Build and maintain APIs and services connecting AI models, internal systems, and third-party platforms
- Evaluate model performance, analyze telemetry, test hypotheses, and iterate based on measurable impact
- Partner with Product, Security Research, and Customer Success to translate user needs into technical tasks
- Track emerging AI and AI security trends and incorporate relevant advancements
Requirements
- At least three years of software engineering experience with hands-on production systems experience
- Experience integrating LLMs or generative AI models into applications
- Hands-on experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or Hugging Face Transformers
- Ability and willingness to work onsite once per week, typically Thursdays
- Familiarity with agentic frameworks such as ReAct, AutoGen, LangChain, or Semantic Kernel is preferred
- Experience with RAG architectures, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, or LLM evaluation techniques is preferred
- Exposure to AWS Bedrock, GCP Vertex AI, or Azure ML is preferred
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails, GraphQL, or React for integrating AI features into production systems is preferred
- Visa or work permit sponsorship is not available
