Responsibilities
- Investigate customer, OEM, and partner-reported software and hardware issues with developers, program managers, and customers.
- Reproduce reported issues, assist with root-cause determination, and verify that defects are fixed.
- Provide software technical support for customers and partners across existing and upcoming products.
- Test products on customer-specific platforms for compatibility and analyze, triage, isolate, and resolve reported problems.
- Build, configure, and troubleshoot PCs and laptop systems, including debugging, memory dump analysis, and remote debugging.
- Develop and implement software tools that improve productivity.
- Communicate issue status and findings to cross-functional teams while managing multiple projects independently.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, electronics, software engineering, or an equivalent degree.
- At least 5 years of experience, including at least 2 years of customer support or software-hardware testing experience.
- Extensive experience troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
- Deep understanding of Windows OS, PC architecture, supercomputers, and computer clusters.
- Extensive Python scripting experience.
- Experience building, configuring, and troubleshooting PCs or laptop systems.
- Experience with debugging tools, memory dump analysis, and remote debugging.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours.
- Interest in or knowledge of CUDA, OpenCL, and deep learning AI is required.
- Generative AI and LLM knowledge, C/C++/Ansible/Java/JavaScript automation experience, GPU hardware familiarity, or PC game testing experience are preferred.
