Responsibilities
- Build compute-intensive services for calculations over large numbers of instruments and inputs.
- Develop distributed, event-driven systems that combine results across large portfolio hierarchies.
- Check and transform market and reference data for downstream use.
- Represent the behavior of financial instruments across asset classes.
- Integrate third-party libraries.
- Mentor engineers and set standards for design, testing, and code review.
Requirements
- 10+ years of professional software development experience in C++, Java, or Python.
- Proven track record building performance-critical, high-volume systems in production.
- Experience with parallel and distributed computing, messaging, and event-driven architectures.
- Solid grounding in financial mathematics and financial instruments across asset classes.
- Degree in mathematics, physics, engineering, computer science, or a similar field.
