Responsibilities
- Develop core functionality supporting business modules.
- Build UI and backend solutions for the SimCorp Dimension B2B fintech product, applying Angular best practices.
- Maintain the existing codebase and review product code.
- Design and execute test scenarios, write automated tests, and support test frameworks and CI/CD integration.
- Participate in user-story creation and review, development, design, coding, code reviews, and product support.
- Work with product management to refine new features.
- Identify technical debt and contribute to team and product development through continuous learning and experimentation.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Angular for dynamic and responsive web applications.
- Experience with Azure cloud services and deployment.
- Knowledge of C# and the .NET framework, object-oriented software design, and programming.
- Experience designing and developing REST APIs and understanding of service-oriented architectures.
- Ability to work with complex architectures, systems, and backend solutions.
- An M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a similar field.
- Functional programming experience with OCaml, Standard ML, F#, Scala, or Haskell is a plus, or willingness to learn functional programming.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills, fluency in written and spoken English, and motivation to work in the financial domain.
- Willingness to learn new technical and programming skills and develop and maintain automated tests and their CI/CD integration.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
