Responsibilities
- Design and implement search algorithms using NLP techniques and optimize search relevance and efficiency.
- Develop recommendation and ranking systems in collaboration with engineers and data scientists.
- Build smart BI solutions using NodeJS, TypeScript, and Google BigQuery.
- Manage large data volumes and integrate data solutions with Business Intelligence systems.
- Build and enhance high-traffic APIs with minimal latency.
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, data scientists, and analysts to improve functionality and launch new features.
- Draft architectural decisions with the Tech Lead and explore new technologies.
- Own products deeply, establish engineering standards, and propose improvement initiatives across team boundaries.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building scalable APIs using technologies such as Node.js, Python, or Go.
- Recent practical experience with a typed programming language such as TypeScript.
- Strong knowledge of SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Ability to write structured, efficient, maintainable code and maintain code quality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in an English-speaking and agile environment.
- Experience establishing professional and cross-team engineering standards.
