Responsibilities
- Write and maintain clean, efficient, high-quality, and well-tested code aligned with project specifications.
- Design and implement abstractions that bridge software engineering and DevOps.
- Identify engineering workflow bottlenecks and turn user feedback into prioritized platform work.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to build tooling that teams adopt.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation that enables engineers to self-serve.
- Use AI-assisted tooling and automation workflows to improve developer productivity, accelerate troubleshooting, and strengthen platform reliability.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience building and shipping complex backend systems.
- Strong skills in at least one modern backend programming language.
- Working knowledge of relational and non-relational databases.
- Solid understanding of cloud-native or cloud-hybrid solutions.
- A product mindset toward internal tooling and willingness to gather and act on engineer feedback.
- Comfort using AI-powered engineering tools in day-to-day development.
- Familiarity with Node.js, Go, TypeScript, React, RabbitMQ, MongoDB, Postgres, and AWS is preferred.
- Experience developing developer-experience tools is preferred.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and working with containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Side projects or personal builds owned end to end are preferred.
