Responsibilities

  • Design, build, deploy, and maintain high-performance, flexible, resilient, and scalable microservices and web and mobile applications.
  • Develop and maintain core services and repositories for integrations, user management, authentication, and permissions.
  • Define engineering best practices and help select technologies for the evolving technology stack.
  • Implement quality integration and unit testing practices.
  • Address scaling challenges and diagnose performance bottlenecks to improve system performance.
  • Participate in design feedback and code reviews to ensure implementations meet requirements.
  • Monitor feature rollouts, support production systems, and iterate to improve customer success.
  • Mentor other team members and contribute to team growth.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Java, Kotlin, or another object-oriented language, with a deep understanding of testing, quality, and engineering best practices.
  • In-depth understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and enterprise messaging.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous communication tools such as Pulsar, JMS, or Kafka.
  • Proven track record of delivering reliable services to production.
  • Experience working in the identity and access management (IAM) space.
  • Exposure to distributed systems is a plus.
  • Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodology.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems, communicate clearly, and share knowledge with the team.
