Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Drive end-to-end system design, implementation, and product integration for intelligent agents.
- Design and orchestrate multi-agent workflows, routing layers, and advanced RAG pipelines.
- Integrate large language and foundation models with user-facing enterprise products.
- Build reusable application layers with robust error handling, predictability, and seamless user experience integration.
- Implement responsible AI governance, guardrails, security layers, privacy protections, explainability, and evaluation mechanisms.
- Optimize latency, token usage, context-window efficiency, cost, and overall system reliability.
- Prototype solutions, benchmark model outputs, and establish automated evaluation metrics for retrieval quality and agent behavior.
- Technically lead engineering workstreams, own the development lifecycle, and mentor junior-to-mid-level engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience with backend architecture, distributed systems, and API design plus 1+ year building production-grade LLM or agentic systems, or 5+ years in Machine Learning Engineering or AI application development with 2+ years shipping LLM-backed products.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience integrating large models and modern AI APIs into user-facing enterprise products.
- 1+ year designing and scaling AI orchestration architectures, including multi-agent frameworks, routing layers, or advanced RAG pipelines.
- 4+ years optimizing application performance, including at least 1 year addressing modern LLM constraints such as token management, cost optimization, and context-window efficiency.
- 4+ years using cloud computing platforms such as AWS or GCP to deploy responsive, scalable systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or an equivalent technical field; a master’s degree is preferred.
- Strong understanding of responsible AI implementation, governance, guardrails, security, and evaluation for autonomous agents handling sensitive enterprise data.
- Proven technical leadership, ownership of engineering workstreams, mentorship, system design, experimentation, and evaluation experience.
- Ability to focus on product value, user experience, practical application of large models, and ambiguous open-ended problems.
