Responsibilities
- Modernize fraud rules engines and support large-scale platform migrations.
- Build and operate scalable global platforms with high throughput, low latency, and five-nines availability.
- Author and implement fraud rules using IBM ODM Rule solutions.
- Follow solution architectures and align implementations with business needs, infrastructure capabilities, and security and compliance requirements.
- Drive best practices, automation, enhancements, performance tuning, and high-quality technical design documentation.
- Apply AI-assisted development tools and relevant generative AI and LLM technologies to fraud-rule work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology or computer science, or extensive work experience.
- Hands-on software development experience and familiarity with DevOps and IT operations best practices.
- Experience with fraud-rule engines and proven experience in large-scale migrations.
- Working experience with one or two programming languages and frameworks, including familiarity with Java, Python, or Go.
- Experience with software development processes and at least one application lifecycle management tool.
- Extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases, loosely coupled and stateless systems, performance tuning, and automation.
- Demonstrated AI experience; financial or banking domain experience is preferred.
- Strong communication, collaboration, decision-making, organizational, and independent-working skills.
