Responsibilities
- Conduct testing of web-based Admin Console applications to ensure quality, reliability, and usability.
- Validate backend APIs that support console functionality using appropriate testing tools.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
- Document defects, test results, and QA activities using Jira and Confluence.
- Use test management tools such as TestRail to track testing progress and coverage.
- Perform cross-browser testing to ensure consistent behavior and performance across supported desktop browsers.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to identify issues and improve quality processes.
- Ensure all testing efforts align with best practices for enterprise software quality assurance.
Requirements
- Experience testing enterprise web applications or administrative consoles.
- Familiarity with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern browsers.
- Experience validating backend APIs and working with API testing tools (e.g., Postman or similar).
- Understanding of enterprise application concepts such as authentication, authorization, and role-based access.
- Ability to write clear, detailed, and reproducible bug reports and manage them through Jira.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Familiarity with enterprise identity systems such as Active Directory, LDAP, or similar technologies.
- Due to the role’s involvement in GovCloud, all applicants must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident).
