Responsibilities
- Develop, code, and enhance custom software components and applications using .NET full-stack development.
- Prepare technical design specifications and provide architectural direction for engineering initiatives.
- Drive architectural governance, platform convergence, reliability, scalability, and system engineering improvements.
- Lead design sessions, conduct code reviews, and identify actionable application improvements.
- Mentor development staff and help engineering teams make decisions and deliver product features.
- Lead or contribute to cloud, DevOps, AI modernization, automation, and engineering toolchain initiatives.
- Communicate technical recommendations and progress with product managers, stakeholders, peers, development teams, and executive leadership.
Requirements
- Minimum 12 years of experience in .NET full-stack development.
- Minimum 10 years of software development experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is also stated.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Significant experience designing, implementing, and enhancing systems, including architecture, design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Fluency in modern languages such as Java, C#, or Python.
- Experience building products with microservices architectural patterns and extensible REST APIs.
- Experience with continuous delivery, infrastructure as code, cloud or DevOps modernization, and AI modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of LLMs, automation, and engineering toolchains.
- Preferred experience with application monitoring, performance assessment, security architecture, Active Directory, Windows Authentication, SAML, OAuth, AWS, Azure, and multi-cloud environments.
