Base Salary
$140k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of APIs and microservices for BaaS onboarding and partner integrations.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
- Drive code reviews, mentoring, testing, observability, CI/CD, and other engineering excellence practices.
- Develop monitoring and alerting systems, ensure SLA compliance, and lead incident response and root cause analysis.
- Drive architectural decisions and long-term technical strategy for the BaaS platform, including documenting design options and decisions.
- Evaluate and adopt emerging technologies while refactoring and extending the existing codebase with durable, configurable solutions.
Requirements
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role.
- Strong experience developing secure and standards-compliant code across multiple platforms.
- Fluency in several listed languages or platforms, including C#, .NET, and SQL, plus hands-on cloud platform experience.
- Experience with Azure native services such as APIM, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Key Vault, as well as container technologies and caching frameworks.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design, OAuth2, OpenAPI specifications, event-driven architecture, and microservice patterns.
- Hands-on experience with observability dashboards and platforms such as Datadog and Grafana.
- Deep knowledge of Git, DevOps, Agile Scrum, security best practices, PCI DSS, and SOC 2 compliance standards.
- Preferred qualifications include fintech or embedded finance experience, partner onboarding and SLA management familiarity, and open-source or technical publication contributions.
- Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship and meet the West Los Angeles location requirement.

- Structured hybrid work arrangement requiring at least three days per week in the office and allowing remote work on remaining days.
- Position is open only to candidates currently residing in West Los Angeles, California.
- Regular position with a targeted base salary of $139,900 to $199,300 per year.
