Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Define product features, influence overall strategy, drive system architecture, and establish engineering best practices.
- Solve algorithmically complex problems and build globally deployed services that scale to millions of requests.
- Apply AI tooling, machine learning, and computer vision techniques to infer data sources and improve item discovery and recommendations.
- Build systems serving millions of customers and measure the business impact of delivered features.
- Collaborate with software developers, applied scientists, product and program managers, and visual designers.
- Develop secure systems for Amazon’s seller payment instruments and trust layer.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming in at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.
