Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java 17+ and Spring Boot.
- Build, enhance, and support RESTful APIs and microservices-based solutions.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries for application performance, scalability, and data integrity.
- Create and maintain Unix shell scripts for automation, deployments, and operational processes.
- Collaborate with architects, business stakeholders, DevOps teams, and engineers to deliver business-critical applications.
- Participate in code reviews and improve development standards and practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues while supporting system stability and reliability.
- Support application modernization initiatives and technical excellence across the development lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- At least 6 years of experience in enterprise Java application development.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java 17 or higher and Spring Boot.
- Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API development and support.
- Strong SQL and database development skills, including query optimization.
- Experience working in Unix/Linux environments and developing shell scripts.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
- Preferred qualifications include banking or financial services experience, cloud-native development, containerization, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, application performance tuning, enterprise-scale deployments, and secure coding standards.
