Responsibilities
- Own one or more key technical areas across LLM, MLLM, CV product portfolio.
- Provide technical leadership to junior scientists.
- Research and develop cutting-edge techniques in LLM, MLLMs, GenAI, and Computer Vision.
- Design and implement efficient and scalable MLLM models.
- Explore novel approaches to NLP, NLU, Object Detection, and Scene Understanding.
- Optimize AI models for performance and energy efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineers to leverage hardware accelerators.
- Evaluate the performance of models using real-world datasets.
- Stay updated with the latest research trends in AI.
- Contribute to patent disclosures and academic publications.
- Mentor junior scientists.
Requirements
- PhD with 5+ years of experience for ML Scientist, 8+ years for Sr. ML Scientist.
- Proven track record of research excellence in LLM, MLLM, and Computer Vision.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C/C++, and deep learning frameworks.
- Experience in the ML development lifecycle.
- Ability to deliver high-quality models for AI projects at scale.
- Experience in developing computer vision algorithms for resource-constrained devices is desirable.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills for presenting technical concepts.
