Base Salary
$152k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership throughout the software design process and guide practices, procedures, and techniques.
- Develop software and data products using Python and data APIs using Java.
- Perform ad hoc data exploration using SQL and write code using Jenkins.
- Implement secure data compliance initiatives for data infrastructure using AWS cloud and GitHub for version control.
- Develop machine learning models using Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Use Snowflake for large-scale data warehousing and query data warehouses using ClickHouse.
- Track and evaluate performance metrics and help ensure software delivery on time, to specification, and within budget.
- Collaborate with QA to determine whether applications meet specifications and technical requirements, and test and evaluate systems, subsystems, and components.
- Act as a technical contact for outside vendors and customers and present architectural, design, and technical decisions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify product and technical requirements and mentor junior software engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, any Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Five years of experience developing software and data products with Python, data APIs with Java, SQL data exploration, Jenkins, AWS-based data infrastructure compliance, and GitHub.
- Three years of the required experience developing machine learning models using Databricks and Apache Spark.
- Experience leveraging Snowflake for large-volume data warehousing and querying data warehouses using ClickHouse.
